Ruari is a qualified yachtmaster. This though is entirely superfluous on a chain ferry, which can go a) forwards, or b) backwards.

Special skill: intermediate Swiss-German

Rich would know what to do if our chain ferry were to be hijacked and diverted to Switzerland, however improbable that scenario is.

Special skill: granola bars

Tom makes delicious granola bars and is used to making long journeys with his five children.  He might actually survive the trip.

Andy's discernment in matters gizmological is legendary. His wizardry will keep the team on track and followers informed.

Special skill: breathing techniques

Sammi is a wellbeing guru and is master of breathing and many other techniques.  He will keep the team calm as the clock ticks down.

Special skill: plane spotting

Eddy is a former aircraft recognition champion. He will surprise and delight team mates by engaging them with i-SPY books for the full 24 hours.
